Wood Vinegar

Wood vinegar, also known as pyroligneous acid, is a liquid obtained during the pyrolysis of wood for the production of biochar or charcoal. The vapors released from heated wood are condensed into a liquid ranging from yellow-brown to reddish-brown, containing acetic acid, phenols, methanol, and over 200 other beneficial organic compounds.
